2018 Part 1

Hey, 2018 is almost coming to an end. Two more days till the end of Dec and exam is coming so soon. Have been really busy with life but I guess I am still able to cope with it so far.

Honestly Idk where to start with, let me talk about my life bit by bit then. Took a very very long inner break for myself to grieve the loss of someone really important to me. Almost giving up life and had the urge to go back to Malaysia to restart my life. It has been tough, really tough.

Research project was still ongoing that time. Still remember that I had to go to the pharmacy to conduct the survey despite heavy snow.

Imagine those days going to the computer room since morning, 12 consecutive hours without any break. I even brought my lunch and dinz over. Anyway, I made it :')

Still remember you came over to see my research poster presentation. We talked like there isn't anything happened before. Well, it is a familiar feeling. I still thank you for coming over.

After dissertation submission (yay), I finally had some time to listen to myself. I was thinking that I really need to get a life, get a new life.

Tough time doesn't last, when I knew all the truth in early June, ya, it was another breakdown time but it was my turning point too.

My summer was really busy but amazing. Signed up my first workaway (work & travel) to Poland, to teach English in a camp. Sounds like an achievement, and it is! Didn't know that I will have the chance to do such cool thing - what can be best is that I could help people!

Had my summer placement for 3 weeks in York Teaching Hospital. First time living alone in a new place, but it was a really really nice experience. I starting to like York, and the people there. I love strolling around this lively city. Met a lot nice people, especially the doctor's gang from China. For being really nice until inviting me to their house and cook for me, made me feel like I am back at home. (awww, kinda miss home now) They even made a farewell party for me.. now I miss it. Oh ya, I met a YI JI BANG supervisor, who always take good care of me and taught me a lot new things. not to forget a bunch of nurses in the anticoagulant clinic who always make me good tea :')

I also went on a solo weekend trip to Whitby (seaside town in Yorkshire). It was really nice. I am not jk. Everything was so on point, great weather, new friend, despite I can't finish the big fish and chips (can someone help T.T). I also spent another weekend to visit my high school friend in Cambridge. We finished touring colleges at 12pm (because I reached there at 7am hahaha). Still, a really good hospitality, feel so blessed to get on a free punting :)

I also headed down to London after I done with my hospital placement. For good food obviously.

After that, back to Notts for another two weeks of pharmacy placement at Well Pharmacy. I think I lost 2 kgs because of this placement haha. Too tired I am not even kidding. Work non-stop from 10am to 5pm (opps) with only half an hour break. Sometimes 15 minutes. I cant get to sit down you know. And another week for having part-time job training at QMC....

Then, I was VERY VERY excited because I am going back to Malaysia for 5 WEEKS. WHEEE :') It was my very first time boarding alone for a super long hours flight. My fam and friends didn't even know I come back atm!! Surprise suceeded WHEEEEEEEE.  I almost cried when I reached KLIA!!!

Till then, I will update part 2 after exam! (Part 2 is more exciting I promise, so don't leave ok?)

(I really need more time for blogging T.T)
